For manufacturers and networks

Service Provider for Coffee Equipment Manufacturers

Independent South Florida service provider available to manufacturers and national networks for dispatched repair, installation, commissioning and water treatment.

An independent desk in the territory

An independent service company in South Florida, available to manufacturers and national networks.

Specialty Coffee Repair is a full-time, service-only company covering Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and the Florida Keys. We take dispatched work orders, installations and commissioning, preventive maintenance programs and water treatment for commercial coffee equipment. We do not sell coffee or machines, so we do not compete with the companies that do.

Beyond repair

Installation and commissioning, not only breakdowns.

A machine that is placed, plumbed and commissioned correctly generates far fewer service calls in its first year. We install and commission commercial equipment, verify water and drainage, set grind and dose, run the machine through its cycles and train the staff who will use it daily.

Why this matters

Installation quality shows up later as warranty cost. A local provider who commissions properly and documents what was found protects the equipment, the operator and the brand attached to the machine. Relocation and decommissioning are handled as a separate visit when the site moves.

Water treatment

Most of what fails in these machines arrives through the water line.

Scale, sediment, chlorine and pressure are behind a large share of the faults we are called out to fix: blocked flow, failed heating elements, seized valves, inconsistent extraction and complaints about taste that have nothing to do with the coffee. Treating the cause is cheaper than repeatedly treating the symptom.

We specify, install and service filtration and water treatment as part of the equipment, not as an accessory. That includes testing the incoming supply, sizing the system to the volume and the local water, setting bypass correctly, and scheduling cartridge changes against actual throughput instead of guesswork.

What this covers

  • Incoming water testing and analysis
  • Filtration sizing, specification and installation
  • Bypass adjustment for the equipment and the water
  • Cartridge scheduling by measured volume
  • Scale inspection and descaling

Coverage and response

One coverage area, weekends on call.

Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach sit at the centre of the coverage area. Saturdays and Sundays are covered on call, because that is when a hotel breakfast or a Sunday brunch runs hardest and a machine going down costs the most. The Florida Keys and Southwest Florida are covered on a scheduled basis. At that distance the honest thing is a date agreed in advance, which is a window we can hold.

How dispatched work runs

Every visit closes as a single document.

Work orders are received by email. Each service closes as a single document, work order and invoice together.

Work order · photo record · invoiceClosed on site
  1. Numbered work order per visit, carrying your purchase order reference, the service date and the time on site
  2. Equipment identified by manufacturer, model and serial number on every report
  3. Dated technician notes covering what was found, the tests carried out, the fix applied and every component replaced
  4. Photographic documentation of each of those steps — the fault, the components removed, the work in progress and the data plate
  5. Machine adjustment checked before leaving: grind, dose and extraction verified so the cup is right, not only the fault cleared
  6. The work explained on site to the manager in charge, and confirmation that they are satisfied with the result before we leave
  7. Signature and printed name of the location manager, taken on site at completion
  8. Follow-up scheduling for anything needing a return visit or a part on order

The company

The same technician on every visit.

No rotating crews, no handovers, and nobody repeating the machine history to somebody new. For a manufacturer or a national account that means one person who learns your platform, remembers what was done to that serial number last time, and stays accountable for the work.
